This is my educational history and future:

1994 - 1998: Highschool with courses in Art, Art History, Maths, History, English, Dutch, Physics

1998 - 2001: Retail Management, with focus on Management and Marketing

2001 - 2003: Bachelors in Leisure Management, further focus on Management, Marketing and Art-/Music- & Cultural History

2003 - 2004: Sabbatical, eg working shit office job

2004 - present: Bachelors in International Communication Management, with focus on Communication, Marketing and basic Psychology

Future: Masters in the Social Psychology, time to get into peoples minds and study why we think the way we do

My life and goals: I could continue the list with bulletpoints, but they only mean so much, so here I elaborate a bit on what I have done, why I did it and what want to do in the future.

When I was a nine year old kid I started to develop a fascination for architecture, I think those were early signs of what was to come. I ran around showing my parents all the great new houses I had designed for them, and how they would be so much happier if they had it built. Things never came that far, but when I reached artclass in Highschool I was introduced to some more forms of art and drawing. Years went along, and quite a few years without any artistic activity.

My interest had shifted more towards the background of design and marketing. What do people want to see, how do I create a successful marketing campaign etc. which is why I started a marketing related study and now, 9 years later I am still studying Marketing.

Right now, my interest is the complete package of image. How all activities, tone-of-voice and visuals of a brand, product or person relate to the image they have in the big world. 3 years ago I made the decision to start International Communication Management over a Design degree because I feel that I was more able to teach myself how to design than the marketing and communication theories,

I have been designing digitally since 2000, and have developed my skills by reading, talking to other professionals and have worked with other professionals in a professional environment at a Brand-Building agency.

My aim is to achieve a high level in marketing, communication and design and efficient knowledge on psychology and management. This in my eyes is the full package needed to understand, advise and help any person, brand or company to successfully position their image. And because of this I am looking to persue a masters degree in Social Psychology sometime after completing my Bachelors degree.
