“In finalizing plans for a first date, a colleague was recently scolded by his companion for texting “See you tonight.” She felt his use of the period—or, to be more eye-rollingly specific, his omission of the exclamation point(s)—implied he wasn’t excited to meet her.”

This is incredible. An average home in New York costs $390,000 while the average income is $62,000 yearly. That’s 6.2 times your yearly income for a house. While you’d expect a city like Detroit to be cheaper than that, the actual number shocked me. Median yearly income in Detroit is a fair bit less than in New York at $48,000. But here comes the shocker. The average house in Detroit costs $66,000!! Yes… a house in New York costs 6.2 times more than your yearly income. A house in Detroit costs 1.4 times your income!!!!
Is Detroit really that bad? I call for a creative infestation of Detroit. Detroit… could it be the new creative capital of the world?
